Name and cover image of new World of Warcraft add on

It is claimed that the name of the new World of Warcraft add-on pack has been added to the source codes of the official World of Warcraft site and the cover image of the game has leaked.

The name and cover image of the new World of Warcraft add-on pack has allegedly leaked.

This part of the article contains potential and major spoilers.

According to the article of the popular World of Warcraft news site Wowhead, the name “Dragonflight”, which is a candidate to be the name of the game’s new add-on pack, has been added to the source codes of the official WoW site. The new World of Warcraft expansion pack will be announced live on April 19th.

Some leaks associated with the new World of Warcraft add-on pack are circulating on social media

It looks like Blizzard “inadvertently” leaked some details. In the open source codes of the site, there are “Base, Heroic, Epic Expansion Pre-Purchase” statements next to the Dragonflight name. After the announcement of Shadowlands, “Base” “Heroic” “Epic” pre-order packages were available for sale.

Countless “leaks” are released before each World of Warcraft bundle, and they are largely wrong. But this time, except for the name added to the game’s official site, the game cover imageallegedly leaked. World of Warcraft’s new expansion pack was already expected to feature dragons, an important part of the game’s story. Although these two leaks – in case they come out – have somewhat undermined the excitement of the game’s announcement, they do not give any details about the content.

It’s also not new for Blizzard to offer a preview of the upcoming WoW add-on pack. Before Blizzcon 2019, some images, including the name of the announced package Shadowlands and a frame from the game’s official cinematic, were spread on social media.
