A health crisis that has exhausted mothers

    Obvious lack of sleep

No wonder then that they aspire to rest. During their baby’s first years, young mothers lose an average of 663 hours of sleep. Added to this was the health crisis linked to the COVID-19 epidemic: 57% said they slept less due to the additional pressure that the pandemic put on them with a average lost sleep time of 2 hours per night. 72% of mums even see sleep as a simple pleasure rather than a physiological need.

Calm as the ideal of happiness

For Mother’s Day, these women who are 34% think that going to toilet only is a real moment of pleasure so would like to be able to make these moments of tranquility last: 2 out of 3 mothers declare that the calm is a pure moment of happiness ! On average, they only have 1h30 of time a day for themselves and would like to have more Mothers Day : 51% of them think that the best Mother’s Day gift they could receive this year would be rest and relaxation. They are also 41% dreaming of a day at the spa, 38% would also like to go out for dinner (without the children), and 38% would consider an evening with friends.

However, mothers say they are satisfied on a daily basis: 58% of mothers believe that motherhood is “wonderful”!
