Hamas leader: Settlement close

Israel and Hamas are “close to reaching an agreement on a ceasefire,” writes Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas’ top political leader, in a post on Telegram. If the settlement becomes a reality, some of the people held hostage by Hamas may be released, according to sources.
