Why try pile driving at all?
Residents and several political parties want to know exactly why pile-driving was chosen.
Initially, piles would not be used during construction, but screws. The municipality then asked for a faster and cheaper solution in the tender, with the same quality.
Dura then suggested piling. The municipality subsequently agreed to this. Multiple studies, at different agencies, showed that this could be done safely. The consequences of pile driving in 2012 were also taken into account.
