MISS POITOU-CHARENTES 2023. Miss Poitou-Charentes’ scarf was given to Lounès Texier on September 1, 2023. She is now in the running for the Miss France election.

The young beauty queen was elected Miss Poitou-Charentes 2023 during an election held at Futuroscope in Poitiers on September 1, 2023. At only 18, she won against 15 other candidates and ahead of 600 spectators. She is now one of the contestants miss France 2024, scheduled for December 16 in Dijon.

Lounès Texier also stands out as the second (only!) candidate from Deux-Sèvres to compete for Miss France. If we do not yet know which studies the young woman is moving towards, it is a safe bet that her professional projects will be put on hold by her year of reign. Miss Poitou-Charentes is a competition which elects a candidate for Miss France each year. Several young women come forward in the hope of becoming the ambassador of Charente, Vienne, Charente-Maritime, and Deux-Sèvres. Since its creation, two Miss Poitou-Charentes have been elected Miss France: Monique Chiron in 1959 and Véronique Fagot in 1977. Two have replaced Miss France: Monique Boucher in 1966 and Claudine Cassereau in 1972.

  • Marine Paulais won the sash of Miss Poitou-Charentes in 2022. Aged only 20, the one who was a student in aesthetics and management rose to 14th place in the Miss France 2023 competition, which saw the coronation of Indira Ampiot .
  • Lolita Ferrari : Originally from Tonnay-Charente (Charente-Maritime), Lolita Ferrari was the representative of Poitou-Charentes during the Miss France 2022 election. However, she did not rank among the 15 finalists.
  • Justine Dubois: At the end of 2020, Justine Dubois represented the Poitou-Charentes region. Originally from Angoulême, Justine Dubois was then 24 years old and had just finished her studies with a master’s degree in international purchasing. Note that Justine Dubois followed the example of her sister here, also crowned Miss Poitou-Charentes, two years earlier. During the Miss France 2021 election, Justine Dubois qualified into the Top 15 of the competition.
  • Andrea Galland: It was in La Rochelle that Andréa Galland obtained her scarf from Miss Poitou-Charentes on October 6, 2019. Holder of a scientific baccalaureate, Andréa Galland was in preparatory class at the time of her coronation, to integrate the National School of active non-commissioned officers located in Saint-Maixent-l’Ecole. In life, she wanted to work as an aviation technician on helicopters. She was ranked tenth during Miss France 2020.
  • Marion Sokolik: In 2018, Marion Sokolik was elected Miss Poitou-Charentes. Aged 23, she had tragically lost her mother two years before, an event that “changed his life”. Unfortunately, the young woman had not been classified during Miss France 2019.
