She will therefore wear the scarf of her region during the election of Miss France 2023, which will take place on December 17 in Châteauroux. and will be broadcast live on TF1. Expectations are high since, as a reminder, Aquitaine has not won the crown for more than 25 years.
Originally from Haiti, Orianne Galvez-Soto grew up in Périgord after being adopted at the age of 7 months. This 23-year-old young woman, make-up artist and artistic director of a young high-end jewelry brand, describes herself as smiling and attentive to others. This former regional judo champion says she is passionate about fashion and dance. Of an adventurous nature, the beauty queen also confided on Instagram that she was passionate about travel and that she had visited, among other places, Mexico, Hungary, Jordan or even Lithuania.
Accustomed to beauty contests, Orianne Galvez-Soto is not at her first attempt. She won the title of Miss Périgord in 2017 and was elected first runner-up to Miss Aquitaine in 2020. Never two without three could we say since this year, after being elected Miss Bordeaux in February, Orianne Galvez-Soto was finally able to put on the scarf allowing her to represent her region at the national level and try to win the title of Miss France 2023. Miss Aquitaine is a beauty contest which elects a representative each year for the Miss France election. Several young women come forward in the hope of becoming the ambassador of Gironde, Lot-et-Garonne, Dordogne, Landes and Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Since the creation of its committee, Aquitaine has won Miss France six times, becoming the fourth region to have won the competition the most times, along with Alsace and Brittany. The first Miss Aquitaine to win Miss France was Agnès Souret in 1920. She was followed by Josiane Pouy in 1952, Frédérique Leroy in 1983, Peggy Zlotkowski in 1989, Gaëlle Voiry in 1990 and Mélody Vilbert in 1995. 25 years since Miss Aquitaine did not win Miss France.

- Amber Andrieu : Ambre Andrieu represented Aquitaine during the year 2021-2022. The young woman qualified fifth runner-up to Diane Leyre (sixth place) during the Miss France 2022 election.
- Leila Veslard: in 2020, Leïla Veslard, 18, was the representative of Aquitaine in the Miss France election. Miss Aquitaine 2020 was also a professional singer and dancer. During the Miss France 2021 election, she finished 11th in the ranking.
- Justine Delmas: in 2019, Justine Delmas was elected Miss Aquitaine. The young woman of 21 years was also not at her first attempt since she had tried to win the title. The third attempt will finally be the right one for the law student from Saint-Sauveur de Bergerac. During Miss France 2020, she ranked in fourteenth place.
- Carla Bonnesso : in 2018, Carla Bonnesso was chosen to represent Aquitaine at Miss France. Miss Aquitaine 2018 was from Dax, aged 20. In the national election, she eventually placed in eleventh place.
