The minister is responding to the decision of Utrecht University of Applied Sciences (HU) today to postpone a series of lectures on the persecution of Jews and genocide by the Nazis. The university said that the series will be held at a different time because “the safety of speakers, students, teachers and visitors cannot be guaranteed.” Politicians and the Center for Information and Documentation Israel (CIDI) are angry about this.
