While the Russian-Ukrainian war continues, sea mines drifting in the Black Sea continue to pose a danger. A sea mine was discovered 200 meters off the coast near the village of Tulenovo on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast.

In the statement made by the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense, it was stated that after the notification made by the governor of Dobrich, where Tülenovo village is connected, special teams were dispatched to the region, and that the YaM type sea mine belonging to the Soviet Union was destroyed in a controlled manner. The statement also shared the information that the mine is ready to explode.
