In addition to this new game, three original MGS games (Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater) will be re-released in the fall as part of the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection: Volume 1.

Considered one of the best stealth action games of all time, Metal Gear Solid 3 was first released for PlayStation 2 in 2004. Set against the background of previous games in the series, this game follows the main character, Snake, infiltrating a Soviet military base in the wilderness of Russia.

While other productions in the series were loaded with high-tech gadgets and weapons, the MGS3 had less use of technology. It focused on using camouflage to hide and of course hunting jungle animals like snakes to keep up your stamina.

The Metal Gear series has been dormant since series creator Hideo Kojima left Konami in 2015 and the aftermath of 2018’s mediocre Metal Gear Survive. Now, with this remake, we are getting the game again.
