(Finance) – The Board of Directors of Mediobanca unanimously approved the list of 15 candidates to the position of councilor for the three-year period 2024-26 to be submitted to the Assembly called for October 28th.
The proposed list is made up of 15 Directors, 4/5 of whom meet the independence requirements and 47% of the less represented gender. Renato Pagliaro is indicated as President e Alberto Nagel as CEO. The other directors are Laura Cioli, Valérie Hortefeux, Francesco Saverio Vinci, Laura Penna, Vittorio Pignatti Morano, Angel Vilà Boix, Virginie Banet, Marco Giorgino, Mana Abedi, Maximo Ibarra, Simonetta Iarlori, Mimi Kung, Stefano Parisse.
“The candidates – underlines the note – were selected at the conclusion of the Process made public last 17 April and reflect, individually and collectively, the characteristics reported in the “Report on the qualitative and quantitative composition of the Board of Directors” made public last 4 September “.
The list is made up of more than half of outgoing Directors, in order to ensure stability and effectiveness of company management, in particular for the implementation of the 2023 – 2026 Plan approved last May, and the activity of the Board Committees. The ista also increases the level of diversity and experience, with a greater presence of international profiles (from 3 to 6), and expresses specialized and diversified skills in the field of banking risks.
