“They lost everything in one fell swoop and still have many questions,” said Mayor Potters. “They have a very displaced feeling. They are missing things, precious jewelry. Suddenly you have lost everything. And you can’t sit on the couch and relax. Most people are in a hotel.” Potters says he understands the feeling of the residents and that the municipality will “help them with everything we have in us”.
