An art student ate a banana taped to a wall in a museum in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, which was an artist by Maurizio Cattelan installation.

The banana taped to the wall is changed every two or three days.

This is not the first time that a museum visitor has eaten Cattelan’s work. In 2019, a performance artist David Datuna ate a banana off the wall after the piece sold for $120,000 in Miami.

Even then, the banana was quickly replaced with a new one and no legal action was taken against Datuna.
