Marvel is altering one of the ugliest Thor 4 scenes

Marvel fans can now stream Thor 4: Love and Thunder on Disney+. Since today is Disney+ Day, you can also get a monthly subscription for just 1.99 euros. *

In the cinema, the MCU blockbuster irritated above all with a scene in which the thunder god communicated with the floating head of a kidnapped boy. The quirky moment has been remastered for Disney+but the result doesn’t look any better.

Thor 4 moment was made worse with CGI

In Thor 4, villain Gorr kidnaps Heimdall’s son and other New Asgard children. Due to his special abilities, the son contacts Thor to seek his help. This telepathic moment was depicted with the boy’s head floating and could not have looked more bizarre.

For the Disney+ release of Thor 4, the scene obviously touched up with CGIas one user noted on Twitter:

In a direct comparison, the new scene looks smoother, but this is also due to the better quality of the source. Either way, the moment with the floating head of Heimdall’s son works like a strange foreign bodywhich stands out from the otherwise already very wacky MCU spectacle.

When will the MCU continue in cinemas?

After Thor 4, the start of the next MCU blockbuster is already certain. We’re coming out with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever November 9th to the movies.
