Markoolio brought three Färjestad players on stage during a gig in Karlstad.
Then he was responsible for a super miss – and was totally outraged.
“What an idiot you are,” he writes on Instagram.
If you are at a gig in Karlstad, you should understand which team is the city’s pride. Especially when it was only weeks since the team took the Swedish Championship gold. But Markoolio made the mistake you just must not do.
Markoolio’s giant miss
When he had a gig in Karlstad during the weekend, he had the FBK trio Jacob de la Rose, Albert Johansson and Marcus Nilsson with him on stage, and the idea was that he would present the gold trio and at the same time charm the audience – but everything went wrong.
Instead, Markoolio was booed – after shouting out the wrong team name.
“I started yelling FRÖÖÖÖÖLUNDA whereupon the audience bowed very loudly. Did not understand anything. Couldn’t drag them (the players) out for that booing. ”, Markoolio himself writes on Instagram.
“Idiot you are”
The players themselves thought that Markoolio was joking at first, but that was not the case. It was an honest mistake, and Markoolio barely understood what he was doing wrong.
“After the gig, the post shot Lehtosalo was informed by the gold trio that they played for Färjestad and not Frölunda. You are an idiot. Anyway, it was a wonderful evening “, he continues.
Albert Johansson, gold hero for Färjestad, says that they did not take it badly and judging by the pictures, they continued the evening at the restaurant after the show.
– We laughed at it all and did not take it so seriously, it was a nice evening anyway, says Albert Johansson to VF.
