Tonight, Marcus & Martinus walk the turquoise carpet during the opening of the music festival in Malmö.
And on Saturday, they hope to take home the entire Eurovision song contest.
– Man want to be the ones who make Sweden win two years in a row, say the Norwegians.
The 22-year-old pair of twins from Norway are Sweden’s hope in the Eurovision song contest 2024. But despite the fact that the competition has not yet started, the plus is high for the brothers.
– We have been artists for twelve years and this has probably been the busiest week of our lives, they tell TV4 Nyheterna.
So far, everything has been going well during the many genres and they feel comfortable on the stage, which is one of the biggest they have ever performed on.
– I feel safe, it feels great.
“The odds are not always right”
According to the odds on the betting sites, it is believed that Sweden will end up in thirteenth place. The most profitable countries are Croatia, Switzerland and Ukraine.
But Marcus & Martinus doesn’t hold back.
– You shouldn’t see it too negatively, the odds aren’t always right. Otherwise, you would be rich if it always turned out as you bet.
And right now, the competitive brothers feel that they have done everything they can to give Sweden the best chance of winning.
– We want to make Sweden proud, you want to win. You want to be the ones who make Sweden win two years in a row. It would be nice if two Norwegians could join and contribute to it.
