Following the moderate messages President Erdoğan gave recently about improving relations with Greece, the incident that took place on television screens on Wednesday evening caused a reaction.
SCANDAL MAP IN THE BACKGROUND
In the news bulletin broadcast on ERT 1 at 18:00 on Wednesday evening, a graphic of the Thrace region in Turkey was shown in the Greek colors in the background.
The chart was corrected in yesterday’s noon bulletin. This time, instead of the incorrect graphic in the background for Turkey news, there was a corrected graphic in which the borders were clearly shown in red.
