(Finance) – Il cabinet – meeting today 12.25, in the Government Hall of the Senate – on the proposal of Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgettiapproved the note of changes to the State budget forecast for the financial year 2024 and the multi-year budget for the three-year period 2024-2026. With the note, the changes deriving from the amendments approved by the Senate of the Republic during the parliamentary discussion are made.
The budget bill 2024-2026, including the approved amendments, establishes the relevant net balance to be financed at approximately 198.9 billion in 2024, 165.3 billion in 2025 and 131.6 billion in 2026. The corresponding level of the net cash balance to be financed is equal to approximately 250 billion in 2024, 209 billion in 2025 and 176.1 billion in 2026.
Between main changes made during the parliamentary examination, measures of a social nature are included, in support of public order and security, as well as in favor of businesses and public investments.
