A man in his 40s was badly stabbed during the night to Sunday in Lysekil.
The alarm came in at 00:33 and when the patrol arrived at the scene, the man was found seriously injured outside.
– We received information that a person had been stabbed, it is unclear where the exact crime scene is, but he was found outside and taken to hospital by ambulance, says Andreas Odén, officer on duty at police region West.
The man is said to be seriously injured, but according to initial information, it should not be life-threatening. At 02:30, no one had been arrested for the crime.
– We have started working on various measures to clarify what has happened and hope to get in touch with the claimant to get some information, says Andreas Odén.
