A man in his 50s was seriously injured by a stray shot in Dorotea in Västerbotten on Saturday evening.
He was in an apartment when a man of the same age accidentally fired a dangerous shot indoors with a hunting weapon.
The man who caused the fatal shooting is now suspected of grievous bodily harm and the police are investigating whether he was under the influence at the time of the shooting. A technical investigation is to be carried out and the weapons have been seized.
