A man in Luleå has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of two women.
The police were called at 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday to an address after two women had been assaulted. The injured women, one of whom is in her 40s and the other in her early teens, were taken to hospital by ambulance.
– We cannot say anything about what relationship they have, says police spokesperson Åsa Mjörndal.
There is no information on the condition of the women’s injuries. According to the police, it is believed that an object has been used.
At 7 p.m., the police announced that a suspect had been arrested.
The crime scene was cordoned off for a technical investigation.
