They just graduated from the nursing program in Flemingsberg, and their first real summer job will be as assistant nurses at the Erikslunden nursing home in Boden.
– It is much nicer here, calmer than in Stockholm, says Maja Wålinder.
Maja and Elin will now be colleagues with the Spanish assistant nurses that the municipality has recruited to get through the summer.
– It can be great to bring in people from other countries who want to work, but there is also a language barrier, says Elin von der Lancken.
