Madagascar the High Constitutional Court studies the 15 requests filed

In Madagascar, the High Constitutional Court has its work cut out for it; while the institution has yet to confirm the victory of Andry Rajoelina, re-elected head of state in the first round, it has since received no less than fifteen requests. All point to irregularities noted before and during the November 16 vote. Among them, nine come from the opponent and deputy from the South, Siteny Randrianasoloniaiko, and six others from outgoing president Andry Rajoelina himself. The latter considers having won “more votes” than those allocated by the Ceni.
