Madagascar: planters issue a cry of alarm in the face of falling vanilla prices

Madagascar planters issue a cry of alarm in the face

Madagascan vanilla planters are in dire straits. They are struggling to find buyers. Since the end of July, the green vanilla campaign has started in the Analanjirofo region, the second producing region of this spice in the northeast of the Big Island. Thirty mayors in the region are calling on the authorities to react and find a solution for their municipalities, which live mainly from this sector.
