The moderates in Botkyrka have called for a press conference on Wednesday.
According to a press release, the party will present a new board in the municipality “which together will take active responsibility for Botkyrka and work for the good of Botkyrka residents”.
At the beginning of September, about 40 members left the Social Democrats in Botkyrka. Behind the mass defection was, among other things, the turbulence surrounding ABF’s leisure facilities. Nine S members of the council have also chosen to leave the party and are now political savages.
They now join the coalition that comes together and challenges the Social Democrats. In addition to the Moderates and the S defectors, the collaboration consists, according to DN, among others, of the local Tullingepartiet, the Christian Democrats and the Center Party.
At the press conference at 2 p.m., the new collaboration’s visions for the municipality will be presented.
