Emmanuel Macron’s party, La République en Marche (LREM), officially changed its name this Thursday, May 5. It will henceforth be called “Renaissance”. In view of the legislative elections, the various parties of the majority are also grouped together in a confederation called “Together”, with Horizons, the party of Édouard Philippe, and the Modem of François Bayrou.

In the legislative elections, the majority also gathers in a confederation called “Together”. Horizons, the party of Edouard Philippe, has obtained 58 candidates, while the MoDem of François Bayrou will have between 101 and 110, according to AFP. Renaissance will present approximately 400 candidates.

MM. Philippe and Bayrou found themselves “together” to announce the news, alongside Mr. Guérini and Richard Ferrand, loyal among the faithful of Mr. Macron, from the Socialist Party and currently President of the National Assembly. A majority gathered for June 12 and 19.
