Janny Dirkx from the Heetakker/Raadhuisplein residents’ committee spoke to neighbors who wonder how the beautiful sketches are realized. “I compliment Soest for presenting it so beautifully, but we will have to wait and see whether it will actually be that beautiful,” she says. “We will only get a good picture when we see the 3D compilation that we were promised. Now it is pictures with lots of trees and greenery, but do not forget that it is a piece of land of only 100 by 200 meters and not the Vondelpark in Amsterdam What will be the final plan, what will be the actual dimensions, how high will the buildings really be and how will the shadow of the high-rise buildings fall?”
