Loreen lands in Sweden – to be celebrated in Kungsträdgården

After the win in Eurovision last Saturday, Loreen became historic. But the celebration is not over – on Tuesday afternoon, Kungsträdgården is filled with people who want to pay tribute to Loreen.

– I have longed to go home. I have longed for the woods. I’ve been longing for you, she says shortly after she arrives at Arlanda.

The queen of schlager has landed on Swedish soil and Arlanda. Afterwards, a big celebration awaits in Kungsträdgården in central Stockholm – and a performance from Loreen with the winning song “Tattoo”. In her arms she has the famous winner’s statuette.

– It is brutally heavy, she says.

Now it’s off to Kungsträdgården, where she will receive the Swedish people’s cheers.

– Now I’m going to give some love, I feel. I really want it.

The celebration starts at 4 p.m. and takes place on the Kungsträdgården stage in connection with Culture School Day in Stockholm. After the celebration, Loreen is looking forward to walks in the forest, she tells TV4 Nyheterna.

– I love Swedish nature, the forests and the fresh scents. I miss my family and friends, she says and continues:

– I long for the smell of bark. I am quite simple and I long for the simple and earthy.
