Ronald Smits lay under the locomotive and sat on top of it. He made drawings and looked up everything he could find about the locomotive. Smits is chairman of Nienoord Spoorwegen, a Groningen family park with miniature trains. Peter-Paul de Winter of the Railway Museum saw Smits at work. “He has been here a number of times to meticulously measure the locomotive.”
