Lukko, the tenth in the regular season of the hockey league, made his way to the semi-finals. For Luko, there was enough draw for 2–2 HPK guests in Hämeenlinna.

HPK’s season got a bleak conclusion. HPK lost four games at the end of the regular season, their first playoff game, and ended their season with a draw against Luko.

Lukon won the regular season points exchange Vili Saarijärvi watched almost 24 minutes on Friday, the most in the entire match.

– It didn’t weigh much. There was no such stage that additional flutes were needed, Saarijärvi said.

– We knew that HPK would improve on Thursday. We were able to answer well, even though we didn’t quite reach the level of Thursday, Saarijärvi continued.

He scored 43 (17 + 26) points in 52 matches in the regular season.

– It certainly tells you that something has been done right. The roles are fine with the couple, Saarijärvi said.

Julius Mattila and Linus Nyman corresponded to the hits of Rauma. Centers excelled as HPK’s painters Tommi Tikka and Artturi Toivola.

– We didn’t lose to a bad team. We got close. Both teams had their own moments, HPK head coach Jarno Pikkarainen said.

Last season’s champion Lukko will face Tappara, who won the regular season in the quarterfinals.
