The entire street has come together to prevent the noise barrier from actually getting there. Sofie van den Enk – known from television program the Keuringsdienst van Waarde – also lives in the street and speaks on behalf of the neighborhood. “That takes away so much light, sun and unobstructed view, we think it’s really too high. It’s great that something is happening, but there are really other solutions,” she says.
