Live session Marion Rampal and Sarah Lenka

Marion Rampal presents his album Woven (Underground Rivers).

Calm, naked and quivering voice, musical and poetic writing subtly creolized by the work of time and smoked by the fire of experience: Woven is an album of homemade songs, a kind of chosen native country, as only a free soul can draw and discover, having really taken the trouble to live and the time to dream.

After many peregrinations between genres (jazz, blues, chanson, classical…), fertile collaborations and three albums under her name, Marion Rampal offers us an album that resembles her, both in the variety of its natural resources and in the clarity of its contours; it shines there with the elegance of a star.

Sarah Lenka presents their new album Mahala (Wild Music)

Mahala is the encounter between Sarah Lenka and 3 committed women artists.

A feminine Ep, a cultural mix: with Naissam JalalFranco-Syrian flautist; Awa LyFranco-Senegalese singer & Macha Gharibian, Franco-Armenian pianist. An unexpected meeting, which mixes a folk acoustic sound with the sounds of traditions and customs.

Each carries within it a cultural heritage, a history. Let the art of these 3 women speak, their roots, their culture.

Women’s Legacy highlights women who testify through transmission, songs, notes, language. A journey into the intimate with carte blanche to these 3 guests who join this repertoire, sublimating it bringing a more organic and ancestral dimension.
