Joon Moon comes back with Chrysalis (Label: LDDC / Musique Sauvage) a 2nd LP, with the prodigious voice of Liv Warfield (discovered by Prince and singer in her band the New Power Generation).

A musical universe borrowed from the great hours of soul music, mixed with classical orchestrations and rearranged in the colors of pop and today’s productions.

Because Joon Moon is not what you think. Behind this romantic character, we find Julien Decoretmultifaceted French musician, songwriter, producer and globetrotter…

With Joon Moon, Julien Decoret crosses the Atlantic and travels through time: he composes a musical universe borrowed from the great hours of soul music, mixed with classical orchestrations and tinged with the sounds of pop and today’s productions. Thanks to a collection of more than 100 instruments from the 4 corners of the world, he assembles styles and sounds to give each song its own color. Joon Moon Youtube Channel.

Then we receive Youenn Roué, the leader of Breton group Startijenn for the release of the new album Talm Ur Galon (PakerProd).

Emblematic group of the dancefloor version breizh, Startijenn, “energy” in Breton language, resonates its exciting music in complicity with the public at Les Vieilles Charrues, on the island of Borneo, in Aberdeen, in Shanghai… on May 20, 2022 in Ploemeur in Morbihan, and on May 21 on the Ermitage stage in Paris, where their music will be revealed in a mix of trad, rock & folk.

A solid line-up combining traditional instruments: bombarde, binioù, uilleann-pipes, diatonic accordion, and muscular rhythmic base: bass and guitar with rock energy supported on four tracks by a drum set. Under an apparent simplicity, the five musicians free themselves from codes and blur the tracks, push the limits of their instruments with unexpected sounds, multiply references and mix influences: electro, dub down tempo, rap, rock, folk, rhythm and soul… Sometimes a voice whispers, chants, explodes, in a percussive, lively and creative language.
