Now Linn Svahn is seriously in the fight for the overall title.
Then she surprises everyone with her unexpected confession.
The World Cup for cross-country skiing has come to Finnish Lahtis with only three competition weekends remaining in the season. For Lynn Svahn it looks extremely positive in the overall standings.
Svahn’s success
The Swede has impressed immensely this season and lined up victories at the World Cup during the winter. The 24-year-old therefore leads the Sprint Cup and is also second in the overall World Cup.

Svahn can thus write Swedish skiing history if he wants to during the end of the season. By becoming the first female cross-country skier ever in Sweden to take home the overall victory at the World Cup.
Karlsson’s answer
Linn shadows the American Jessie Diggins in first place and has Frida Karlsson behind him in third place overall. But Svahn has no thoughts whatsoever.
– Nothing I think about at all. I don’t think about the sprint cup and have no idea about the points in the total. I have no focus on that, says Linn in an interview with SVT.
– I have said all season and continue to say that it is race by race.

Linn Svahn took another World Cup victory on Friday when she together with Jonna Sundling won the sprint relay in superior style. But despite that, the interest is still cold in chasing the overall victory at the World Cup.
Nor does Frida want to put much focus on making skiing history as the first female cross-country skier to win the overall World Cup.
– Right now I’m in a good position, but it’s a long way to the leader. I don’t have a goal for the total, but want to be involved and fight in all the races, says Frida Karlsson to the TV channel.
