Linn Svahn’s clever response to Kristine Stavå’s Skistad after the cheeky mockery – now says what all Swedes think about the Norwegian

Kristine Stavå’s Skistad defeated all Swedes in Drammen.
And then taunted his blue-and-yellow rivals right after the finish.
Now Linn Svahn responds in the very best way with a neat pass.

Once again, the sprint final in Drammen was a pure duel between the arch rivals Lynn Svahn and Kristine Stavå’s Ski City. Svahn had impressed the most and won the qualifier and already secured the overall victory in the sprint cup ahead of the final race.

Skistad’s mockery

The final on Tuesday was also a huge drama that was decided first in the race where the Norwegian proved to be the strongest. Stavås Skistad sprinted away from Svahn and took a very strong victory at home in front of Norwegian cheers in the stands.

Immediately after the finish, the Norwegian sprint specialist also sent a clear sneer at the Swedish competitors.
– I am surprised that the Swedes went so slowly. But it is only for me to thank for that, says Skistad to TV2.

Svahn, who thus already won the overall sprint cup for the season, now comes with a clear answer to Stavås Skistad after the sprint race.
– I don’t know, we probably have five miles left. I didn’t see her at the start there. It’s about doing what you think is best to win a race, says Svahn to Expressen.

Both Linn Svahn and Frida Karlsson completed the full five-mile in Holmenkollen on Saturday and now made it to the final in the sprint just a few days later. While Kristine Stavå’s Skistad chose to forgo the five-mile to only compete in the sprint, which annoys many Swedes.
