Did you work with skin and health experts to develop it?

Everything we do at Therabody is backed by science, and it was no different with the TheraFace Pro. We have done rigorous research and development to create an effective, all-in-one facial device. We worked closely with dermatologists, scientists, physicians, and skin health experts throughout the product development process to perfect each modality and understand its benefits for the face.

The device was designed to massage, overcome wrinkles and acne, improve the radiance and tone of the skin, and even cleanse it… Can we (so) throw away all our creams, serums, and other anti-wrinkles in the trash?

There is no question of throwing them away or replacing them. On the contrary, the TheraFace Pro can be used to enhance the effects of creams, serums and other beauty products. The way light therapy helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles is, for example, different from the action of a serum – but together they should create an even more lasting effect. In addition, the device can be fitted with a heating ring (sold separately, editor’s note) which is ideal for use with creams. Heat therapy helps these solutions penetrate faster and deeper into the skin.

The cosmetics industry is increasingly interested in LED light. In what way is it essential today for the skin?

LED light is becoming more and more popular with consumers due to its versatility, but also its greater accessibility over the years. Red LED light works to reduce wrinkles, fine lines and mild acne scars.
