Xavier Yvon : A few days ago, I had a captivating discussion with Éric Mandonnet, the editor-in-chief of the political service of L’Express. He is one of the pillars of our editorial team, having been part of it for more than 25 years. When I asked him why he chose to write for this particular magazine, here is his answer:
Eric Mandonnet : “L’Express impressed as a title because this magazine had a real political history for two reasons. Firstly because L’Express had taken part in the political adventure of France and because there was had feathers in political journalism which had contributed a lot to the prestige of L’Express and it counted a lot at the time to be a mark for a newspaper.
Xavier Yvon : This political history and these “feathers” that made “the L’Express brand”, we decided to dedicate an entire episode of this anniversary series to them. But before that, I have to make a detour to the library…
