“In the previous coalition agreement, it was indeed agreed in Leusden that all energy consumed in 2040 will be produced sustainably. The city council unanimously approved it again last year,” says reporter Jordi de Jong. “Now you see that VVD from the current coalition, SP from the opposition and the newcomer Lokaal Important 2040 actually think it is too early and want to go for 2050. The other five parties, D66, GroenLinks-PvdA, ChristenUnie-SGP, CDA and Leusden Looking ahead to 2040 is still possible.”
