Carlsson made it 3-1 with a shot on the crossbar with nine minutes left in the match. Isaac Lundeström then scored 4-2 in the open box. Carlsson’s goal was the fifth of the season and the fact is that it is the third time this year that he has scored the decisive goal. He is tied for second in the league when it comes to players who scored that type of important goal.

The goal was also important for another reason. He is the teenager who has scored the most NHL goals ever, he has now scored 17 in 69 games. Previously it was Mats Sundin53, and Elias Lindholm29, who shared the record, when they managed 16 goals each before turning 20 years old.
