Leisure leaders surreptitiously filmed over 100 girls at school – sentenced

A man in his 40s is convicted of several counts of child pornography, sexual harassment and offensive photography, after secretly photographing girls at a school in Stockholm on a large number of occasions and over several years.
A total of 110 girls receive compensation.

According to the indictment, the man must have been exposed a couple of years ago by a witness at an outdoor pool, who saw the man filming under the towel of a child who was changing.

The incident was reported to the police and that was the start of a long investigation.

Now the man is sentenced to prison for three years and six months.

– The man has essentially confessed to the crimes, says the court’s chairman, councilor Anne Wartin, in a press release.

In total, the man has exposed more than 100 girls.

The investigation reveals that the man surreptitiously filmed the students in, among other things, changing rooms and on swimming excursions.

– It has been very difficult for my daughter, and for the whole family. Although children at this age may not understand the sexual aspect, you can feel angry, sad, cheated and betrayed by a person you have trusted, says a mother to the newspaper Middle of.

The verdict states that the man downloaded a large amount of child porn. The police have found over 80,000 depictions of child pornography.

A total of 110 girls receive damages of between 5,000 and 35,000 each. They were between five and ten years old at the time of filming.
