In the third quarter, the hosts improved their defensive and offensive game and narrowed the score to 100-90, but Utah was able to keep its lead until the end and increase it in the final moments.

Utah head coach Will Hardy said that the game slipped out of the team’s hands in the third period.

– That was mainly the reason for our attack. We rushed a bit too much, we didn’t recognize the settings and spaces. Because of that, they were able to turn the game around, making them really hard to guard, Hardy said.

The Jazz ended their three-match away tour with a win, leaving two wins to their credit.

– This was a great way to end the game trip. We beat a good team. We talked after the third quarter that we didn’t think we would be leading by ten points at the start of the last period. We were in a good situation. We just had to try to win the last 12 minutes, the team’s head coach Hardy commented.

Utah has won eight of its last ten games, and the Jazz have risen to 11th place in the Western Conference, close to the playoff line.

– I see a team that prepares to win every day. It can be seen in training and preparing for games. They really believe they can win every night. They have confidence as a group. The way they behave with each other is completely different from the first season, Hardy beamed.

Milwaukee has lost four of its last five games. Utah will next play on the night before Thursday at 5 o’clock. They will face the Denver Nuggets.
