    DJ Battle, who was supposed to celebrate 15 years during this year’s Almedal Week, will instead be shut down, Veckans Brief reports.

    The event had become one of Almedalen’s largest with nearly 3,000 participants annually. It was started in 2009 by Dagens Media with Rolf van den Brink as DJ.

    Around 20 fishing boats sail towards Gothenburg in a protest action against offshore wind power, GP reports.

    The promotion is carried out by the Swedish Fishermen’s Producer Organization. Protests are also carried out in Varberg and Lomma.

    “If society wants wind power, then build wind power, but don’t build marine wind farms in Swedish fishing’s best fishing spots, because then you kill the base industry Swedish professional fishing and Swedish marine food production,” writes the organization’s chairman Peter Ronelöv Olsson in a press release.

    Hard to know. What I do know is that the trial was supposed to be held now in June, but that it was postponed at the request of the prosecutor. The prosecutor believes that the trial can be held at the end of July at the earliest. You can read more here.
