    The luxury hotel and spa Yasuragi is closed after several of the staff fell ill with suspected legionella.

    Yasuragi has its premises in Hasseludden in Stockholm.

    “At the time of writing, as a precautionary measure, we have decided to close the hotel,” writes manager Anna Westerberg in an email to Aftonbladet.

    Legionella is a bacterial infection that spreads in stagnant water and can contaminate water pipes, air conditioning systems, showers and hot tubs. Infected sufferers, among other things, from severe pneumonia.

  • Collision between train and car – woman seriously injured

    Police, ambulance and emergency services have been called to a road in Åtvidaberg municipality because a train and a car collided.

    – Three people were in the car. One had to be taken to hospital. The others are fine, says Lennart Ågren, officer on duty at the rescue service.

    The person who was taken to hospital is a 25-year-old woman. According to Region Östergötland, she is seriously injured.

    The other two who were found are both children under the age of five. Both have escaped without injury, according to the region.

    The alarm came in around 11 o’clock.
