A dentist in Linköping loses his license after being assessed as “grossly incompetent” by the Health Care Accountability Board (HSAN).
According to P4 Västmanland allegedly extracted nine teeth on a patient without properly examining them with X-rays. In addition, he allegedly gave the patient far too much anesthetic.
In another case, the dentist must have performed a root canal on another patient’s completely healthy teeth without anesthesia.

More discount stores in the future
Sweden will have more and more discount stores for food in the future, the Trade Research Institute (HUI) believes, reports Swedens radio.
It is the sharply rising food prices that are causing more people to go to discount stores, something that is predicted to continue if the price levels hold.
– It’s going well for those who have a low-price concept, that’s what customers are drawn to right now, says Joakim Wirén, analyst at HUI to Ekot.
Sweden has a low proportion of discount stores according to HUI, which only classifies 13 percent of stores as discount. This can be compared with Norway, where the corresponding figure is 68 percent.
Ukraine will open ten new embassies
Ukraine plans to open ten new embassies in Africa, announced President Volodymyr Zelensky during a speech to Ukrainian ambassadors on Friday, writes Kyiv Independent.
– We are already restarting relations with dozens of African countries and we need to continue this even more intensively next year, the president said in his speech.
He did not specify which countries the embassies will end up in, but said that the goal was to have a diplomatic presence in about 30 African countries.

Attempted murder in Karlshamn – one arrested
At 15.34 the police were alerted to an assault at Stortorget in Karlshamn.
At the scene, a bleeding man was found who had allegedly been assaulted. Among other things, he allegedly had a minor cut, according to the police.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
A suspected perpetrator has been arrested in connection with an entertainment venue near the suspected crime scene. According to the police, the man is in his 30s.
He is now suspected of attempted murder.
Single accident on the E4 – stoppage in traffic
A car has driven into the middle barrier on the E4 at the height of Skarvsjön, Gävle.
The police were called to the plate at 11:04 p.m.
The road was initially closed to southbound traffic as the car blocked the roadway.
At 23.50, traffic was allowed to open again.
No one was injured in the incident.
SD politician resigns after violent video
In a video spread on social media, SD politician Dana Alkabi is seen abusing a young woman. In the film, she will stomp the other woman in the head.

Man shot by police after argument
At 9:18 p.m. the police were alerted to a fight in an apartment in Storebro, Vimmerby.
A threatening situation arose on the spot and a man with an affection is said to have lunged at the police.

The man, who is 45 years old, was hit by a shot and has been taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening, according to the police.

The Sun is forced to apologize
British newspaper The Sun apologizes after Top Gear profiler Jeremy Clarkson’s column about Meghan Markle. It reports Sky News.
