Last minute: Speaking at the Shanghai Summit held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, Russian President Vladimir Putin made flash statements about the Ukraine war. “We want to end the war,” said Putin, adding, “Ukraine wants to fight against our peace effort.”

Russian President Putin said he was aware of India’s concerns over the conflict in Ukraine. Putin blamed the Ukrainian side, saying that Russia would do everything to end the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible, but Kiev refused to negotiate.

On the other hand, a critical meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Russian leader took place. The summit took about 40 minutes.

Russian Vice President Yuriy Ushakov announced the issues to be discussed at the meeting in a statement he made in the past few days.
Ushakov made the following statements in his statement on the subject;
“Many issues will be discussed in the meeting between Erdogan and Putin. There are many issues for negotiations at the moment, one of which is Turkey’s positive role in signing the grain agreement. At the meeting, the results of the agreements reached in Sochi on July 5 will also be discussed.
