Many have openly refused to take over the Swedish national team.
Now the TV4 profile Lasse Granqvist has had enough and roars.
– I find it so annoying, he says in the podcast “Sporthuset”.
The Swedish men’s national football team is still without a national team captain. After Jan Andersson left in November, they have not yet succeeded in finding a successor.

There have been many “no thanks” in recent months – from Graham Potter, Per Mathias Högmo, Olof Mellberg and lastly Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Also Jimmy Thelin there have been rumours, but he chose to extend with Elfsborg instead.

After all the snubs, there has been much criticism of the Swedish national team and the Swedish Football Association, SvFF, which handles the recruitment. Now the TV profiles air Lasse Granqvist, Jens Fjellström and Tommy Åström their strong opinions after the disappointment.
Granqvist’s anger
Above all, they are annoyed that everything leaks to the media and that it is so unprofessional.
– As soon as someone is contacted, it leaks immediately, says Åström in their own podcast “Sporthuset” and develops his thoughts.
– You can imagine that Andrea Möllerberg will come in, with Kim (Källström) by her side, so they plan to clear quite a lot. So there are probably one or two who are leaving who may not be very loyal and I see that as a problem.

TV4 presenter and commentator Lasse Granqvist is most upset and puts his foot down properly.
– I find it annoying that the Swedish Football Association is unable to keep a lid on such an important issue. Close the doors around you and shoot your mission, he says in his outburst.
– I am somewhat annoyed that there is far too much being leaked from the federal chancellery on Evenemangsgatan in Solna. Close the window and make sure you manage this discussion internally instead.
