According to Södertörn’s fire service, there is a fire in four out of five townhouses in the length and the fire will spread to the fifth.
– So we will have a whole row of terraced houses burning up, says Ludvig Tejler, officer on duty at the rescue service, to TV4.
Police on site have helped with evacuating residents and with cordons around the fire scene.
According to the police, the case is initially being investigated as public negligence, something that may change, according to Carina Skagerlind, police spokesperson.
– We hear from people on site. But primarily it is rescue work that applies. We have information that a person inhaled fire smoke and are being looked into, says Skagerlind to SVT.
