Who can benefit from the large family card?
The large family card is accessible to households who have at least three dependent children, including 1 minor, without resource conditions. Blended families can also benefit from it. In this case, the children taken into consideration for its attribution are those of this new union, but also those of each parent if they have custody. In this case, they will have to present a judgment defining their residence as that of the children.
To make your request, everything is done online on the site carte-familles-nombreuses.gouv.fr and it costs around 18 euros including tax for administrative fees. You must therefore complete a form, submitting certain supporting documents. Beneficiaries can obtain their card in dematerialized versionavailable upon validation of the file, or a paper mapwhich will be sent by mail within three weeks.

- Sport: discounted rates at Intersport Rent, Water Glisse Passion, Laser World, AccroCamp, etc.

SNCF advantages, up to 75% reduction
The biggest advantage of the large family card is that it allows you to obtain reductions on SNCF train ticket prices. Parents with three children will get a 30% discount, those with four will get a 40% discount, families with five will get a 50% discount, and for those with six or more children the discount is 75%. of the ticket price. RATP and public transport advantages
In the Paris region, the large family card can also allow you to benefit from discounts on the price of RATP tickets. If you are responsible for 3 or more minors, the T+ tickets and origin-destination tickets are half price. If you have at least 5 adult children, you also get 50% discounts.
The large family card can be renewed at the end of its validity period. You will receive an email explaining the procedure to renew your card. In principle, the file to complete is the same, as are the documents to provide. However, it will be necessary to specify on the form that it is a renewal of the large family card and not from a first request. There renewal request cannot be sent more than three months before the expiry date of the current cards.
In the event of loss or theft, you must inform the contact center by telephone or email and make a new request at your expense.
