François call on the Greens to remobilize and “not to let go.” The test of comfort also promises a new intervention of the cursed totem: it is therefore necessary not to lose. The three teams are spread out on a triangular platform where two groups must balance at the end of a rope. If one gives up, the other loses. The event remained undecided for a moment and, despite great efforts, the Greens ended up falling first, pointing in particular to Franck, whose arms had visibly given way too soon. The victory goes to the Violets with Bastien and Matteo who win hands down against Colin and Fouzi at the Blues.
Setha and Amber switch teams
It’s a new defeat for the Greens who must again suffer the wrath of the cursed totem. This time, the winners of the event have the right to choose one of their candidates who will join their team against one of their own. A standard exchange in short. The Violets hesitate, negotiate… until Setha volunteers to go to the opposing team while Amber, deemed pleasant, joins the Violets. The Greens, who look gloomy at the start, quickly realize that the arrival of Setha, able to find food all over the island, will change everything for them on the camp. The Violets, on the other hand, are delighted to discover Amber. The ex-Green also discovers a camp where there is something to eat! And all the more so now that a Filipino teaches them what can be eaten on their island.
“The Greens are a hassle!”, Franck leaves the adventure
The adventure does not begin auspiciously for the green team which has not won any event for the moment and has twice suffered the curse of the totem. François also remembers the words of Bertrand-Kamal from Koh Lanta the four lands: “The Greens are a hassle!” This has never been so true since Dean Franck announces to his comrades that he is abandoning Koh Lanta, the cursed totem. In question, a lack of pleasure in the game. With his teammates, who know that he will not be replaced, this decision goes badly. Despite pleas from the Greens and then from Denis Brogniart, Franck has made his choice: they are leaving. Quite annoyed, his former comrades did not take off. Nicolas concludes “Franck no longer exists for us. That’s over.” Facing the other adventurers, Jean-Philippe announces that Franck has left and that “mediocrity has no place in Koh Lanta.” Atmosphere…
During the immunity test, the Blues, powered by a monstrous Benjamin, once again won the totem and could afford another week with peace of mind. Arrived last, the Violets once again experience the pleasure of the elimination council and especially the endless pre-council negotiations. Two candidates are singled out: Stéphanie, withdrawn from the tests, and Matteo, his partner criticized for his attitude deemed too pessimistic. The duo spend a good part of the day looking for an immunity collar but without success. In the end, Matteo is eliminated from Koh Lanta, the cursed totem. Very disappointed, the young dancer could not show everything he was capable of.

The candidates from Koh Lanta are going on an adventure in the Philippines. After a season marked by the return of iconic former adventurers from the TF1 program, the 2022 season sees the return of anonymous people. In total, they will be 24 candidates, 12 men and 12 women, to try the adventure of the cursed totem in the hope of becoming the big winner of the next season.
Koh Lanta is back for a new season, entitled “The cursed totem”, in 2022. This one is to be discovered on Tuesday evening, from February 22. Each episode will be broadcast on TF1 from 9:10 p.m., as is usually the case. The first channel therefore decided to keep the Tuesday evening slot, tested during the All Star season in 2021, instead of Friday evening as was traditionally the case until then.

Koh Lanta is an adventure game broadcast since 2001 on TF1. It was presented by Hubert Auriol for the first season. Since 2002, Denis Brogniart has been in charge of hosting the program. Several adventurers try to survive on a deserted island until the finale. In this entertainment of survival and strategy, several tests punctuate each episode, and a candidate is eliminated by the other participants, until there are only five left. The latter then decide on two emblematic tests: the orientation and the posts, before the final vote. Since its inception, the game has seen many rule changes.
Koh Lanta is a TF1 program broadcast twice each year on the first channel: a first season is broadcast in the spring, a second at the end of the summer. Each episode is available on television but also live on the MyTF1 site via tablet, computer or smartphone. The show is available for replay the next day on the MyTF1 website and this for a period of 7 days. Note that the replays are posted on the Salto platform for an indefinite period, which allows the most avid fans to see or re-watch the entire season.
Due to accusations of cheating which would involve adventure game finalists, there was no winner at the end of the last season of Koh Lanta, at the end of 2021. A first in the adventure game. According to Le Parisien, it is Claude Dartois who would have obtained the most votes from his partners and opponents during the final council. But the ballots will not even have been counted … Broadcast on June 4, 2021, the previous final of Koh Lanta (The Secret Weapons) had crowned Maxine, who is therefore the only winner of Koh Lanta in 2021.
