The activists behind the legal action consider its organization opaque and especially believe that the executive secretary of the party and deputy Maurice Kakou Guikahué was unfairly excluded from the race for the presidency of the PDCI while he fulfilled the application criteria.
The Abidjan TGI ruled the appeal admissible, finding that “ the irregularities denounced » risk “ compromise the election of the new president of the PDCI » or even “ to cause disturbances to public order », this request and pronounces the suspension of the congress and its postponement.
