Just 08 seconds away from the podium Eero Hirvonen scored

Eero Hirvonen was handsomely fourth in the Schonach World Cup. Urheilu’s expert and Hirvonen’s personal coach Petter Kukkonen praised the performance.

Eero Hirvonen was fourth in the combined World Cup competition in Schonach. In the end, Hirvonen fought Norway for third place Jörgen Gråbakia against. However, Hirvonen lost 0.8 seconds in the final race.

Hirvonen already succeeded on the hill section of the HS98 hill in Schonach. Hirvonen came eighth on the normal hill. He was 39 seconds behind the podium finisher.

However, Hirvonen and five other competitors pulled away from Austria to Thomas Rettenegger.

Gråbak, who started the track three seconds behind Hirvo, was stronger at the end of the 10 km ski.

– Great performance. Overall, an incredibly good performance. One of the best competition jumps of the season. What a skiing section! Urheilu’s expert and Hirvonen’s personal trainer Petter Kukkonen glowed in the newsroom.

– Eero was working all the time. Gråbak helped one lap and cleaned Hirvonen’s nose in the final stretch, but I have to give a plus sign. Such performances give faith to the whole team.

Finland’s head coach Antti Kuisma woke up the team after the Christmas break. According to Kukkonen, he talked about how the team was asleep at the World Cup in Oberstdorf.

– Today it seemed that the Finnish train is back on track, Kukkonen emphasized.
